In-built
graphical editor of Build-Master is tailored for drawing
single line floor plans. Drawing a plan with it is easier than drawing
it in CAD Package. User has a flexibility to choose or switch over
between packages, at any stage. Slab spanning, Wall data, door/window
positions are defined on this plan. The main feature of this software
is that it detects Beams and Slabs from line sketch itself. Further
more user can give his own tags for beams and slabs (e.g. B1a, S1b
etc.), instead of serial number. |

Build-Master
software has four main parts namely; Analysis, Design, Drawing and
Estimation. The Drawing & Estimation options run independent of
the Analysis & Design. Architects can make use of software for preparing
Working Drawings and Contractors can use it only for the quantity
estimation. |

Build-Master
has a unique concept of Beams and Members. When a beam is divided
into number of parts by cross beams, each part is called as a member.
One beam can have 15 such members. Analysis is done for the members.
While designing critical forces of all members of a beam are brought
together and that Beam is designed as a single entity. Analysis
of floors is done by grid analogy with stiffness matrix method. |

main feature of the software is that it generates Space Frame from
the plans entered at various levels. Frame Analysis is done for
Load Cases of Dead Load, Live Load, Earthquake & Wind Loads.Program
generates multiple Load Combinations out of them. |

Slabs
of One Way, Two Way or Cantilever types can be designed. Continuity
of slabs detected from plan data itself.
Beams are designed as singly reinforced or doubly reinforced section.
Availability of flange effect is detected from plan. Bottom bars
can be either Bent-Up or Curtailed Type. Depth of both adjacent
beams is considered while designing Support Steel at Top.
Columns are designed for slenderness and minimum eccentricity moments.
Isolated Footings are designed with all possible worst loading combinations. |

Rcc
floor plan generated by Build-Master contains beam, slab, column
numbers and slab directions. External beam lines are drawn continuous
and internal dotted. Lines around sunk slabs are continuous. Columns
are drawn as per the sizes and flush positions given in data.
Three
dimensional elevation of the building generated from the plan data
at various levels. User need not give a single 3D line command.

Architectural
drawing is with doors/windows markings and their working dimensions.
Room names and dimensions are also printed. Exact Column Centre
line plan is created with grid numbers and cumulative grid distances
from the corner of building. |
