FA-TR-01. What are the Code / Clauses used for Wind Load Calculations in Build-Master?
Solution:
Presently the program calculates the wind load assuming uniform wind pressure throughout the height of the building. Wind load at every floor is calculated from the projected length of the building at each level into floor height of that level (Half the floor height above + Half the floor height below) into the wind pressure. Values calculated are printed in .DPA file.

FA-TR-02. After "Frame Analysis Parameters" option is selected "Files not updated" window appears.
Solution: Depending on the interdependancy of Data files, the Program checks whether data files at all levels are up to date in proper sequence. It uses the file Date and Time to check this interdependancy. At each level the files shall be generated in the following sequence : .dxf, .rcc, .arc, .par, .inr, .dat, .out Hence if any of these files are not updated in the above sequence, then Program gives this warning.

FA-TR-03. The Frame Analysis is terminate at 50% or An error message appears 'Can not allocate memory'
Solution:
The reason for this may be the mismatch in column co-ordinates. To locate the floor at which there is a mismatch in column co-ordinates. From 'Modify Project' option of the project menu, modify all floor names or any of the floor name (say PL). Then carry out Frame Analysis. Now starting from lower level, change the floor names one by one to their original floor names. Carry out Frame Analysis after changing each floor name. This way the floor with mismatch can be located easily.
